Dr. Wargo has been practicing anesthesiology, pain management, interventional pain management, and regenerative medicine with a comprehensive evidence-based approach emphasizing holistic and preventive management.  He is part of the new Interventional Pain Management service at North Alabama Shoals Hospital.

Dr. Mesquita completed full general surgery training at Wayne State University. Prior to that, he was at the Institute of Cancer of Ceaera in Brazil, where he served as managing director and head of the department of digestive oncology. Mesquita has had work published 29 times and will bring expertise in surgical oncology and general surgery, along with Laparoscopic, abdominal, gastrointestinal, hepatobiliary, liver and gastric surgery.

Originally from Huntsville, Dr. Kristen Reed comes to NAMC from Oregon Health & Science University in the Portland area where she completed her surgical residency. She graduated from Auburn University before completing medical school at the University of South Alabama. At OHSU, she served as a general surgery intern for one year before serving as a resident and later serving on the OHSU Department of Surgery Resident Council.
